London Fashion Week
01 February 2012

It’s February, which can only mean one thing, we’re watching out for all the latest reports on London Fashion Week. We all want to know who will be seated at the front row, take a look at the latest creations that masterful designers have mustered up and of course, we want to discover what trends we’ll be wearing next autumn/winter.

During the 17th to 22nd February our eyes are going to be glued to our computer screens, unless you’re lucky enough to have a ticket (we’re not jealous, honestly). Watching live action videos and twitter feeds going into a frenzy and reading the latest reports from all our favourite magazines.

It is a momentous occasion, not only for British fashion, but also for London’s economy. The event generates around £100million of orders and contributes £20million to the London economy, attracting people from over 25 countries including, USA, Russia, Middle East and France.

Throughout the week we will see the likes of Bora Aksu (one of our favourites), Jasper Conran, the last ever Twenty8Tweleve show (sad faces are seen across the office), Stella McCartney, Mulberry and Jonathan Saunders, just to name a few, take their designs to the catwalk. For the first time Moschino Cheap & Chic will be showcasing their autumn/winter collection after pulling out of Paris Fashion Week and jumping into the London schedule.

The sheer volume of names we could reel off to you is so immense that it’s making us salivate; and we’re sure as you’re reading this is you are too. So instead, let’s talk about what we expect to see. The London Fashion Week autumn/winter collections are sure to be nothing but spectacular and we predict sharp tailoring, 20s fashion and monochrome are going to make the biggest trend stories.

See our collection of gorgeous Cocktail Rings which will add a splash of colour to your look. During the one of the biggest fashion weeks keep popping back here at Pravins, where we’ll be sharing with you all the latest news, trends and gossip.
